he must have been married previously cos his eldest son Arthur was born in 1893 and Albert in 1896...

BLAKEWAY Samuel HORTON Fanny Cradley Heath, Holy Trinity Sandwell Register Office 19/3/176


I think this could be Fanny's mother living with them on that 1911 census

according to the above Samuel and Fanny have been married 12 yrs so abt 1899/1900? but eldest son Arthur was born 1893

Arthur and Albert may have been Fanny's children, or they married late.
