Hello, my first post so please be gentle.....am hoping you might be able to steer me in the right direction, am researching a most successful Edwardian actress, by the name of Mabel Green.....she was born on the 1/11/1890....Mabel married in South Africa, some time during 1912, what I would like to know is who did she marry ?

''Mr. Stanley Logan and Miss Mabel Green are seen in an amusing playlet, entitled Mr. and Mrs. M.P. written by Mr. Logan, which satirises women members of Parliament. There is a delightful finale in which the couple are dressed in eighteenth century costume, and Miss Green sings with much charm "Red Roses." Assisting the two principals are Miss Rene Seymour and Mr. Francis Serle, who excellently enact a typist and an elderly butler.'

Mabel Green's married name was BURMESTER. I may have some more information in my family files. I have no idea how she is connected with us but there were some papers in amongst my grandfather's things which came to me. If you want I could look them out. Do you know her family? The only possible connection I have found is that My Gt grandfather's brother was married to a widow, Caroline Green, in 1889.
