Hi just wondered if any one could give me some help looking up a burial of

Thomas Grazier from the parish St Thomas Dudley between 1875-1881.

I have looked for his death on BMD and looked on census records and can't find him Huh

Not sure how old he might be when he died, on what I think is his marriage cert he is aged as a minor that's in 1863.

He married a Jane Spittle (also down as a minor) and he has been written down as a Thomas Brazier not Grazier (married in Dudley).

His sons birth certificate is 1876 a William Henry Grazier , Mushroom Green and he is down as Thomas Grazier on this. This is the only definite solid evidence that Thomas Grazier existed!

I hope some one can help

Hi Yvette I have moved this to the Black Country Genealogy section

If you need a look up at a particular church some of us sometimes go and could do that
but we need the day month year and of course name of church.

The one that Peter found may be yours
the death certif may help? You could contact the archives and ask if that one matches the dob you have.
If that is yours then why would he be buried at St Thomas church?
He could be buried near where he died.
:?

Thank you for that peterd,
I think I may have chosen the wrong church

Maybe a Netherton church ie: St Andrews I think

He'd be in his 30's

Thank you everyone one but I already have all that info and it does all fit in and is all relevant
it's amazing how you all found all that info out so quick!!

But it is the death of Thomas Grazier I can't find :?:

His wife remarries a Luke Hethrington and then latter she marries a Henry Richard Taylor (both die I wonder what they die of ?? I will find out eventually)

But I need to find out first what happens to Thomas Grazier
because Jane Grazier nee Spittle has had four children with him!
Then he's gone she's down as a widow on her marriage cert to Luke which is March 1881

Any clues??

Was Thomas further afield when he died --

Thomas Brazier
Estimated birth year: abt 1847
Year of Registration: 1876
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Age at Death: 29
District: Penkridge
County: Staffordshire
Volume: 6b
Page: 263

I notice that the most likely births of son thomas are also Brazier -- perhaps Jane couldn't pronounce it or really didn't know how to say it correctly as she is the person most likely to have recorded the boys births too.

Thank you Maths girl

Jane was married to Thomas and they had a son William Grazier and on his birth cert it says Grazier
It's only on their marriage cert it says Thomas Brazier, so I don't know?? I thought about a speech
impediment.

I think the one you found could be a possible but do you have any idea how I could make sure? Is the
only way by ordering a death cert?
:( the price £9.25 is rather high if not the right one, Penkridge is is interesting why was he there when
he lived at Mushroom Green :?:
The more you dig the more questions you have ha ha

Thanks again
Yvette

Think you will have to order some death certif you can contact the regis office
that is local and ask them a few questions they are normally very helpful

going to flag to archive this one now not sure we can do any more on it
