looking for my birth mother

i am trying to locate my birth mother, her name was jacqueline thomas, she married william harris late 1963 and was on the electoral roll up until 1967. they then separated and since then i am unable to find any trace of her. last known address was marshfield road trinant nr newport, south wales. please can any one help. thank you for reading this, Helen

Have you tried writing to the Salvation Army

A social services file may give you reasons for your adoption / fostering, plus any siblings names, or the name of your mothers new partner who she may have gone on the marry, or even an address where she moved to.
