I'm not ashamed to admit that, whilst I can operate the washing machine and also know my way around an ironing board, folding clothes tends to be my downfall.

However, I think I've found something that might be the saving grace of all men across the world. I've built one myself, and it works perfectly every time...

Yeh, every now and then when I'm bored (ie the net's down so I can't do any research ), I empty my messy draw out, and fold all my t-shirts neatly, then place them back all neatly sorted according to colour. How long does that last.... until the next time I need a clean t-shirt

Very Clever, I hang mine on hangers and let the creases blow out.

Unfortunately my suits and shirts take all the space available in my wardrobe, or I would just let them hang up.

I might see if I can get a plastic one made. It would certainly be more durable than cardboard. I am surprised he hasn't patented it and gone on dragons den. Perhaps a plastic one with adjustable foldy bits for clothes of various sizes.

Hubby has all his t-shirts and jumpers (as well as shirts) on hangers and his trousers folded up on shelves and in drawers - weird

But as long as he doesn't encroach on my wardrobe space he can have his clothes anyway he likes

My jeans are folded and put in a drawer, along with my t-shirts and things. One draw has one of those vacuum bag things in it full of winter clothes (my winter coat, jumpers etc) in it, and when the time comes they come out and the my summer clothes are put in. Very organised system. I blame the Air Training Corps.

As for that 2 second video, that's amazing. I always try to do it like that, but unfortunately I normally end up with my arms tangled in my clothes and swearing about how the system only works if your clothes are designed to be worn by toddlers. Not for the hefty, 21st century british man.

I have a wardrobe for summer clothes and one for winter and my coats take room up in my hubbies wardrobe.

What can he say, it's part of what he signed up for when he got married

As for our wardrobe, we have a house we built ourselves so our wardrobe is a small room, and seeing as the house isn't that old we haven't outgrown our space yet! And I haven't encroached on my husband's space yet. But not surprisingly I have slightly more space than he does

He can't say much Brickwall he made a mistake when ordering the wardrobe units and we were 1 short so he must pay the penalty.

As for the plastic version of that folding machine, according to my mother, one does exist. She thinks it's a mail order thing though, so the hunt is on. I will find one, purchase it, and my time spent folding will be reduced

We also have a wardrobe in the celler for coats and stuff, but who knows whether or not that's what it'll be used for
I don't tend to hang onto clothes I've stopped using, so I think his space is probably safe..... for now
