Ok so this is the family

so is he James or John her father
that Emmanuel son of Patience I think means this is the family

Is James her grandfather?

I can't see Patience in 1851.

So if John is grandson by virtue of being married to Elizabeth then perhaps it would be worth looking at that marriage to see if her father is also given as John?


Patience Sidaway was witness to marriage on Feb 2nd 1857:
Edmund Coley son of Samuel Coley, to Mary Ann Homer, wid, dau of Thomas Mole. Other witness was Joseph Dunn.

Doesn't help a bit And I can't see Patience in 1851 either
