I think Joseph Bradney born 1871 is Rachel's son, not son of Joseph Snr and Elizabeth:-

Joseph aged 10, is son of Rachel, and Grandson of Joseph Snr and Elizabeth.

Racheal Bradney is my Great Grand Mother. She married Matthew Bradley 1874.
They had the following children James (1875) William (1877) Emma (1881) Samuel (1883) Florence (1886).
James Married Mercy (Parkes) ( My Grand Parents) in 1896 and had the following children
Ada (1897 Elizabeth (1898) Matthew (1904) Sarah ( 1908) Carrie (1910) Emma (1912) and Stanley my father 1915. There were other children who died early in life making a total of 11 in all.
We believe that both Racheal and her Mother Elizabeth both had children before they married.
James and William married sisters Mercy and Roseanna Parkes.

All the information I have is from the family Bible.
The 1911 census Gives Joseph as Bradney not Bradley and as a boarder single aged 40 and a chainmaker.

We are going with Bradney too for Joseph

We believe that Rachel had Joseph whilst working in service by the employer she never married prior to marrying Matthew.

Her parents where Humphry James Parkes (or James Humphrey) Born 1873 and Rosannah Hale Born 1838.
Their children Fanny, William Mercy Rosannah Sim Sarah.
We believe that Rosannah could have come from the Oldbury area.
The Bradley's and Bradney's where well know in the Mushroom Green area of Dudley Wood.

James Humphrey was born 1838 not 1873.

Do we have dob for her parents and actual regis name for father?
