I'm Tracing My Hubbys family his father Keith william Yates DOB 17.2.1945 passed away 5.3.1990 age 45 ( we have no one to ask)

His father William Yates DOB 10.11.1918
DOD 10.11.1954 buried at St Johns church Kates Hill Dudley was in forces in ww2 we think army( how do we find out)???
Married Minnie Brookes in 1941 her DOB 1920 DOD 1985
on a recent visit found his parents
Joseoh Yates DOB 1893/4
DOD 27.1.1967 age 73

Hannah (whale???) Yates DOB 1893/4
DOD 22.3.1966 age 72 both buried St Johns church Kates Hill Dudley
How many more children
any help or whatever info will be greatly appreciated

I found a Marriage for Joseph Yates and Hannah Whale Dudley March Qtr 1914 6c 1175

The only child I found on Free BMD was a Lilian B Yates born 1925. Ancestry has the full BMD Index, so you may find more on there, maybe someone will search for you?

They could all belong to the same family Maud being born at family's house if father was away at WW1

Lilian M could have died and so Lilian B named after her

Without the birth certificates this is supposition unless you have any further info.

next step is probably to get Marriage certificate and check fathers' names
/birth certificates of at least one child to check maiden name of mother

I think the only way to confirm they are all children of the same marriage is by getting the birth certificates unless they were baptised and the details were included in the register.

Anyone else got any ideas of ways forward?
