I just dug up some potatoes and pulled a few carrots to go with them . So it is salmon baked in cream, with new potatoes, carrots and asparagus, for dinner here

Yup, from the boxes. I'm really pleased with how they have worked out this year. Mind you, I think it helped that last month was a whole 2.2°C hotter than average. I've never known such a summer before.

I feel slightly bad now for what I had.
I made myself a Pizze con funghi and had it with some garlic bruscetta, topped off with a glass of white wine.
Yours sounds much nicer than mine, I have to say.

Brickwalls!
It would probably be soggy although I dont know where you live!
Freshly dug up veg...lovely!
Do you get Salmon out there or is it brought in? I'd pass on the Salmon but my hubby would love it!
I will have it from a tin with far too much vinegar on it!

Oh I live in the North West of England :p
Salmon is gorgeous, especially fresh salmon. Saying that, some of the nicest salmon I've had was smoked salmon on guinness bread with a slight layer of creme fraiche between the two.
