Just found an error on WMBD:-
FIELD Henry SAUNDERS Eliza Halesowen, St John the Baptist Dudley Register Office 014/003/106 1863

I know from Census and other records that this should be Eliza Sanders and so checked FreeBMD site and it is Sanders on that and not Saunders.

The image on Freebmd is clearly Sanders.

Husband Age at Marriage: 23.
Wife Age at Marriage: 24.

This is one of those tricky ones that unless you actually look at the image it can be anyone of them.
If it is a different name then you can contact them I believe and report an error.

There are occasions though where by I look up a name and it is entered incorrectly by the vicar
or whoever, yet they sign as a completely diff spelling.

I posted for information as until now I had taken WMBD site as being accurate and because 1871 Census has a George Sanders as Step.son I knew Saunders was possibly incorrect.
1871 Census Birmingham Street Halsowen Stourbridge Worcs.
Henry Field Head 31 Nail Maker
Eliza Field 30 Nail Maker
George Sanders Step.son 9 Scholar
Thomas Field son 6 Scholar
John Field son 4 Scholar
Mary H. Field dau 1
All born Worcestershire

Thus if WMBD site does not tie up with what you are looking for it is worth cross-checking

Agreed and that goes for any site too.

People should verify the info given themselves.
