Guess I'm a little late getting to the introduction part.
My name is Marie and I'm still trying to figure out where I'm from. I presently live near Louisville, Ky but across the river in Indiana. Previously - Pittsburgh - Corsham, Wilts - Bingara, NSW - Wisconsin, USA.
I volunteer at the local family history center (I'm not a member but Salt Lake knows me) and have access to all the Salt Lake type resources. We have a large number of English Parish registers on permanent loan and I have the facility to make digital copies from the films.
I'm having a great deal of trouble breaking through the 1800 barrier on several of my lines (my father was born in London, my daughter in Bath and my husband in Croydon. The family wanders around alot. For the Pepler name, I even created a website as a one name study and in four years and 10,000 Pepler/low/loes still have not found my Richard. We are either from Wiltshire or the area of Shropshire and Worcestershire around Bromsgrove and Shrewsbury.
I'm very willing to help others, if I can and look forward to getting to know all of you
