I have a marriage Certificate for a James Scott and Dorothy Bailey
14/2/1931 Lexden Essex
James is shown as 20 years old and Father is Walter Scott Coal Miner
James address is Meeance Barracks Colchester and he is shown as no. 2752532 the Black Watch
Couple divorced c. 1940 and Dorothy re-married in 1949 to a Matthew Scott ( no relation)
What happened to James who was Scottish after divorce ? and where was he born ?
Daughter born 1939 thinks they lived in Isle of Man towards end of marriage

should just be on the 1911 census then?

Only two I could find with Walter as father and James (Of the right age) as son.

Thanks Mark but I think he was Scottish and Walter Scott is shown as Coal Miner on marriage cert.

Date of Birth found for James Scott :- 6/4/1910 Scotland
