Hi Everybody, :P

My name is Darren, and I've been researching my family tree recently. I'm from the UK and live in NW England.

I've discovered that a number of my ancestors appear to originate from the West Midlands area in the early 19th century, and I'm keen to try to find out more about the place and hopefully build upon what I've already discovered. I've traced most things back to 1837, and so one particular area of interest is Parish records, which I hope will enable me to take things a bit further.

Unfortunately my knowledge of the Black Country area is not great, and therefore I'm hoping that some other members might be able to give me a few pointers on various topics. 8)

Cheers

Some of us are involved in the Black Country Connections tree

Any queries we can help post and we will do our best
