looking for information about francis head born in claverley, dont know the year, married ann trantry 1820 chlidren:- maria 1820, francis 1823, anne 1826, i would be greatfull of any information anyone can provide.

His Baptism is not in the Claverley parish register extracts.

Marriage. Oct 9, 1820. Francis Head, Bachelor. Ann Tranter, Widow. Witnessed by Martha Feasey and Thomas Preece.

The register is full of Tranter so it will take a bit of snooping to figure out Ann's maiden name.

im sorry i dont know what part of shropshire he came from all i know is what i put in the 1st post, i didnt know about ann trantry being a widow, how do i look at the caverly parish records to find her maiden name, i know his son francis b 1823 claverley,married a harriet wollaston b brewood shropshire, before 1850 thier children were:- charllote b 1850 cannock staffordshire, john b 1853 brewood stafordshire, thomas 1858 brewood staffordshire, and isaac 1860 brewood staffordshire, also there seems to be a tradition of one of the sons being called francis,
