In later Census, Ann says her place of birth is Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.

I assume Emma Devall is Ann's mother.

I think Devall is from Emma's second marriage.

Emma Devall can be found with her son, Joseph Stone, in Aston, Warwickshire in 1881.

Emma Stone married George Devall in 1st Qtr 1856 Dudley 6c 139.

Ann Stone married John Hadley in 1st Qtr 1849 Dudley 18 357.

Can anybody add any more evidence to support the theory and what Emma's maiden name might be?

Got it sorted except for Emma's maiden name.

Her husband was Joseph Stone born in Wales and they can be found in Dudley in the 1841 census.

Joseph is dead by the 1851 census.

Added the Stone and Hadley families.

I think this Hadley mob might connect to my Dodd line as well but I will have to more checking.

Now I need to tackle the Randle/Randall onnection a bit more...
