but that aint him! he is from blackheath and listed as a 'imbecile' in the 1881 census, in the 01 census he is living with his aging parents eber and rebecca lowe(all working as nailmakers). i think eber's death was registered in jan -mar 1911

One of my ancestors was branded an idiot on one census

Makes you wonder how they came to these conclusions on one census and nothing on the next

thankyou cid, i had been told as a child times had been tough on me family in the past

so simeon and samuel were alive in 1911 who was the other one?
