*Archive?* Parish Records

This may be a daft question, but here goes anyway!

As I've done almost all of my research online, due to living in Denmark I've never actually looked up a parish record "in the flesh" so to speak. I was therefore wondering if there is any additional info, compared to what I've found on IGI? I know there is the advantage of being able to transcribe things myself and avoid (hopefully) other peoples mistakes, but other than that can you see fathers names, ages, places of birth etc? :?:

Thanks
Sue

Hi Sue

Yes there is additional info on the PR stuff.
You get for baptisms after I think 1813 the abode and occupation of father
You also know that the info is correct and not mistranscribed.

The marriages you get Witnesses fathers name abode occupation and whether they have made a X or signed
all very useful.
Burials too after a certain date you get the abode, age
and of course you get anything else the vicar or whoever decided to add in the entry
