Hello, Norway calling. Could somebody help me by looking up the death certificate for Sarah Griffiths (on FreeBMD, March Quarter 1870, W. Bromwich (Vol 6b, Page 479))
I hope this is my ancestor. she was married to Joseph Griffiths. Anymore info needed please let me know.

Sorry we can't look up Certificates they have to be purchased from the Registry Office

So you are ok with their respective parents?

They were married 06 Nov 1821 All Saints church, West Bromwich . I think Josephs parents were Edward Griffiths and Sarah Male. I have no information on Sarah Rottherams parents so any help here would appriciated.

Yes I got it. It say's that Sarah died of bronchitis on 13th Feb. 1870 age 65. Her grandaughter, Sarah, was present at the death and is the informant. Husband. Joseph Griffiths, coal......
I will be going to a LDS Family History Centre in Oslo on Monday to check out the marriage certificate.
A relative say's she was born in Dudley in 1804 but she say's this could be wrong. IGI has a Sarah Rothoram christened 8th july 1803 at St. Matthew Walsall Stafford. Parents John & Ann. This could be her, Walsall is not so far from Dudley.

HI Shaygriff, the marriage won't give you anymore information than is already on here. In 1851 and 1861 Sarah says she was born Dudley not Walsall, two very different places. She may not have been Baptised, or she may have been Baptised at a Non Conformist Chapel, I don't think you can claim the one baptised Walsall in 1803. HTH from Linell.
