This is either the son or Grandson of Benjamin Westwood (1843 actually 27/11/1842) http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tribe/browse?userid=bcconnections&view=0&pid=37727&rand=934756833. He appears as Grandson Joshua on the 1901 census and as son Joshisa (Josiah?) on the 1911 census. Grandson seems most likely as Benjamin's 1st son was also Josiah and still living. The only birth register is Q2 1893 Stourbridge 6c 155 (see W. Midlands BMD ref "WESTWOOD Josiah Halesowen Dudley Register Office HAL/061/313 ".

Has anyone got thoughts about this one; it would be good to find out who he belongs to.

I would say he is a son on this one.

This is the only marriage for a Josiah, it might be worth having a look up to see who the father is.

I was wondering if it could be James son? He was showing as married on the 1901 census. Benjamin as single.

After looking at this again i would say he his Benjamins grandson, and it is Josiah, there is no birth reg for Joshua.

Thanks everyone, I hadn't expected the look up(s) to be done so quickly. Looking at the dates it seems probable that Josiah's mother is not Phoebe, which would explain why he lived with his grandparents and not his father.

Which ever one it is, Josiah was born before they married.
