soldiers died in the great war(worcestershire regiment ) gives the following information-
16503 l/cpl edwin grovenor (their spelling mistake!) 3rd worcestershire regiment
born cradley heath enlisted dudley residence cradley heath
killed in action 20/4/17 france and flanders

medal index card has him as edwin grovenor! landed in france 12-1-15 and listed kia

he was died in 1917, he is remembered on the menin gate . so i would say he was killed in belgium
