Can anyone tell me if the "Sedgley Parish Registers" will be reprinted in hardcopy. I have bought several CDs of the registers and they are terrible to read.

Last time I asked them about printed hardcopies they did not have any for sale, it's worth another try though they may have had some more printed .

I bought some fiche from them and some of those are very hard to read.

Nice to hear from you "Northern Lass" and "Annie", I would buy fiche but I live nearly 45 miles from the largest town and I know they do not have a fiche reader at the library. The nearest GS is over 100 miles away, so it is very difficult to be able to read fiche. I did consider buying a fiche reader ( secondhand ) but the postage was aprox: 120 pound sterling. Anyway thank you for replying and advice. Maybe I will treat myself to a trip to my local GS just down the road, 100 mile away. Thank you once again. Keith.

Hi Keith, why don't you just search for Parish Registers to buy on line, there are plenty of sites like Amazon, Abe Books and Ebay, I have bought mine using on line shopping. HTH from Linell.

If there is an entry you can't quite work out you could always ask on the forum
and we could help
some of us go to the archives and could look at the actual register
depending what the query was
