Thanks for the welcome - Peter, I heard about it from the BC list on Rootsweb and Northern Lass (perchance) had helped me with a name previously - elsewhere. I have to think hard about my 6 names because so many in my tree link to lots of the names already on - as the site says - most of us come across these names going round in circles!

we ususally can sort them out but as you say sometimes to many choice for just one name and year
