For those of you that are a stranger to you local archives
do pop in and have a look one of the days.

I have been again to the Dudley one at Coseley
and I have to say that they are so helpful and friendly
a lovely relaxing place and so much info under one roof.

The people there have such a wealth of knowledge
the same with the Smethwick one.

I also have to mention the lIncs archives and register office.
They have been amazing in helping me with my research.

So thanks to all those that work at our local archives

We have two central points for Genealogy in Victoria. The State Library and Public Record Office of Victoria.

The staff are brilliant in both places and show a genuine interest in your stalking of dead people.
