Billboard on one of our major roads....

We live in a world of feminism where it is frowned upon for a man to open and close a car door for a "lady".

What is so different about a dunny seat?

I think she should just be grateful if Greg has good aim!

Lads, do not be too polite and put the lid down as well as the seat, like I did once. Remember that ladies do not need to turn the light on to have a pee in the middle of the night like lads do ! I had to get the mop out ! !

Don't wish to be too disgusting here but...is your toothbrush in the same room as your loo? Just think of all those toilets that are flushed with the seat and lid up, all the fine droplets of water-plus spraying around and landing on the toilet paper, towel, toothbrush etc etc. PUT THE LID DOWN (and perhaps put the toothbrush in the cupboard just in case?)

I have a load of Australian girl cousins and they couldn't get over the the fact that in our house, and i'm the only MAN,the toilet seat was always down!!
I'd never thought of it before and it got me thinking and especially now that our Aussie mate Mark has started this topic, that for some reason Aussies are obsessed with toilets!!
I wonder why this is?
:?

If you are going to worry about water droplets coming out of the toilet....just think what fish do in the water in the first place!

If such paranoia is going to get you then for heaven's sake, do not read how much cockroach is in each bar of chocolate or how many insect eggs are in each bowl or porridge or insect parts in your next loaf of bread

Ahhh.....time to ruin your appetite.

On average a person in England, the USA or Australia will eat up to 1KG (2 and a bit pounds) of insects each year in processed foods.

This is a level that the FDA in the United States and CSIRO in Australia have agreed is "conservative".

Currently allowed levels in Peanut Butter is 30 or more insect fragments or 1 rodent hair per 100 grams.

Chocolate is allowed an average of 60 insect fragments per 100 grams for six samples as long as not more than 90 are found in any single sample.

It is also allowed to have 1 rodent hair per 100 grams for six samples as long as no more than 3 are found in any single sample.

Citrus juice is allowed about 5 fly eggs per 250ML and 1 maggot per 250ML.

Macaroni and Noodles are allowed 1 insect part per gram! i.e 250 grams will have up to 250 insect bits.

Do you want me to continue or have you thrown up already

I mean, I could go on about the allowable rodent pooh in Popcorn and other additions to your diet you might not know about...

I always worry about the rice that is mixed with wild black rice or is it mixed with mouse droppings ?? :o

On the other hand we have a record number of old age pensioners so maybe the "mixed diet" and contaminated toothbushes have a beneficial effect ?

We're way too concerned with having everything clean. If this goes on, we will lose all our immunities and the bugs will all be resistant.
Ya gotta "eat some dirt".
(Mind you, I will be keeping my toothbrush in the cupboard from now on. Thanks, gardener!)
