I am a new user who has hit a brick wall concerning my search regarding William Pattison b abt 1854 possibly in Carlisle.
I know he lived in Maryport and married Margaret (Maggie) Crawford in Crosscanonby 1878. I have them on the 1901 census but cannot find any record of a death date or place of burial. Any info would be awesome.

Hi

I'm going to move your post to General board so people can have a look at helping you.
If you get no luck we can then move it to the the brick wall board.

The Pattisons at John Street 1901 are correct as are ones on the 1881 census. The Pattersons are not the right ones but thank you Annie.
I have this info already but not the 1911 census and do not know how to find when they died. I would send for a death certificate if I could find this out. I live in Canada so a bit difficult to research from across the pond.
