Last week Beardie sent me a pm noting one of my Brookes connections Robert Stanley Brookes born 1895 had died in 1917 WW1 France and had married a Lily Maud Pritchard of 39 John Street Blackheath before leaving for France.

I have traced a probable Poppett Family but cannot find 1851 or 1871 records as father George died between 1861 and 1871

I think this ticks enough boxes to make connections as right locations and name is unusual

This has gone round full circle now as it would appear that Selina Poppett sister of Hannah Poppett who married a James Pritchard married a John Hill who I think is son of Benjamin Hill and Mary Hill.
