Hello from Carl Fisher of Leicester

Hello. My natural surname is Carl John Dwight Fisher and I was later adopted to the surname of Duffin. I was born in Leicester in 1960 and currently live with my wife in Cornwall.
My family research began shortly after the death of my mother as asking about my real father always caused problems with my new parents. As a result I had very littel to go on; just my own memories (luckily as a child I lived with my mother, grandmother and great grandmother all in the same house so I had some names to start with) and some records from my step father who was doing genealogy as a member of the Mormon church. My step father died this year, leaving me free to research without upsetting either parent.
An offer - I am visiting the village of Hambleton in Rutland next weekend (27 March 2010) so if anyone would like me to look up headstones of a particular line, please let me know.
