Hi, I've been researching my Tree for 20 yrs, I have my web-site on Tribal Pages it's called Halesowen & Leicester families; my mother was a WITHERS.... Lots of WITHERS in Halesowen, this is due to my X5 Great Grandparents John WITHERS b.1772 & his wife Elizabeth (BACHE) having seven sons (they also had a daughter). I have 525 WITHERS on the Tree, and am also interested in the surnames:- ANDREWS,BENNETT,BRETTELL,COLEY,ELCOCK,CRUMPTON,HOLLOWAY,HACKETT,RUDGE,SOUTH(ALL)WELL,SA(U)NDERS.
Always on the lookout for photographs of the people in my tree (Don't let your family become "Strangers in a Box") that's my new motto for getting more photos, loads of photos went into the bin when my mum died, because no one knew who they were, very sad....
Look forward to any replies that this might bring.
Regards
Kim

Hiya Kim and welcome!
Have you looked at the Family Albums in our gallery? Unfortunately we don't have many photos of family members when they were alive, so I too am always on the lookout for more :-)

Oh I hate that. Even if you don't want them, there are societies that will happily accept them even if they stay in storage for the next thousand years.

I totally agree that putting a face to a name make them come alive.

Have fun and welcome.
