This is my first attempt at solving a Query.
I Have Benjamin Round C1826 married to Sarah Chance C1829 his parents being Thomas & Elizabeth.

However a fellow researcher on another site has told me that he has Sarah married to a Benjamin Round but with other Parents.
Can anyone solve the mystery please or tell me where I have gone wrong.

The Benjamin Round that married Sarah Chance has parents John Round and Ann Shakespeare
I know this cos I looked up the marriage and Benjamins brother links to my William Round
did a lot of research on this line, will for JOhn Round etc death certifs.

Cant get onto BCC but the Chance line then I think links to Gardener too

Now there could be another Benjamin round marrying a Sarah Chance but the one here

Both of Round oak? which is very near Woodside.
Father John Round Labourer
Father James Chance Miner deceased.

Witnessses Samuel Danks and Lucy Bissel

Jan, Round Oak was where the steel works were, Brierley Hill, it does run into Dudley, not sure exactly where Woodside is, BC Wench will know Linell.

So if Twiglets Benjamin Round didnt marry Sarah Chance and parents are Thomas and Elizabeth
Who did he marry?

Marriage: 04 FEB 1849. Rowley- Regis, Stafford.

No it aint that one....father was a Joseph

I need to sort this lot and add it to BCC..this is from my notes...

Sarah Baker -father of Benj was a Joseph.

4 Feb 1849, St Giles Rowley Regis
Benjamin X ROUND, 22, bach, Carter of Springfield, son of Joseph an engineer,
&
Sarah Ann X BAKER, 20, sp of Springfield, dau of James, a labourer,
by banns.
X is the mark of.
Wits: Shadrach X PEARCE, Martha X BAKER.

Other Marriage ......
Sarah Oakley -father of Benj was a Benjamin.(married St Mary Kingswinford)

(Also note that there is on the 1861 Census a Benjamin Round age 29 living in Pedmore Rd married to a Hannah she is age 49...and she has a son.....

There is a marriage for a Benjamin Round to a Hannah Taylor in

1853 St Pauls Tipton
Benjamin Round 21 b Miner Tipton Father John Round Nailer
Hannah Taylor Wid (looks like age 40!!) Tipton Father Edward Hartshorne Miner.
