Hi Pete, there are two Ellen's. Ellen No 1. born 1846 da of William Crumpton and Phoebe, she Married John Withers he was born 1844 son of Joseph and Mary. Ellen No 2. was born 1848 da of Henry Crumpton and Catherine. She Married George Withers born 1846 brother of John and also son of Joseph and Mary. Do you have any marriage details to post? i have no details to post only the above just notice it and thought it needed clarifying

Can we find george and ellen on 1871 please...........

George is living with his Parents in 1871 Hagley Road Hasbury.

Ellen is missing from the Census, could have just been missed off

George has gone missing by 1881, Ellen is back home living with her mother Catherine Cope, there were no children, so it seems that their union was not a very happy one

1881 she a widow with her mother linell so he poss dead or mistranscribed ?

I couldn't find a death for George Pete, could have called herself a Widow to save face I wondered if he had gone off to America, a lot of the Withers went out there Anyway problem solved can this be archived now
