My 5 g-grandfather, William FRENCH, was christened 5 Nov 1765 in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. He married Maria DEVONSHIRE 8 Feb 1788, Hitchin. Their son John FRENCH (my 4 g-g) christened 9 Nov 1800, Hitchin....I would love to share information with you. I am in California.
