Hi,

I'm trying to trace my ancestry on my paternal grandfather's side. This is the information I have so far:

Kenneth Dodson born 1.2.1921 died August 1975 (Death Registered - Sandwell July-Sept 1975). Married Thelma Downing born 29.8.1926 died July 1975 (Death Registered - Sandwell July-Sept 1975)
Older brother - George Dodson (no other information known) who had 3 daughters.
Parents - Sidney Dodson and Sarah Tromans (no other information known).

Would love to here from anyone who may be able to help.

Found on 1901 census Lily Tromans who's mother was named Sarah. Going to get Lily's marriage certificate to confirm her father's name.

If you could look this up before me that would be great. It'll be the next school hols when I can get to the archives (the joys of teaching). I'll let you know if I find out more in the meantime. I've had it confirmed today George was younger than Kenneth Dodson (I didn't listen to my dad the first time round oops!)

add it to the first one in there called dudley and smethwick archives post here

and put
your name
and that info above and the name of this thread
or it wont get added
