I spent quite a lot of time researching my family history back in the late 80's/early 90's, and have recently started on my partners family in Yorkshire. Wow things have changed considerably in the intervening years. So much more is now available online and I no longer have to visit london for the GRO before every step can be made. This has been holding me back since I moved from Middx to Yorkshire in 1991. The names I am interested in at the moment are WALKER/HARPER in the Vale of York and DRANSFIELD/DAVIS in Middlesborough.
I guess its best to be more specific in the other forums, as I have one or two burning questions that a more experienced researcher may be able to guide me with.
