I think that ....

1. the 1841 census has both Emma and Mary with Ruth so most prob daus
the bapt of Mary proves that Mary is dau of Ruth.

2. Marrige of Mary father Wm collier
marriage of Emma father George horse nail maker
so I think diff fathers
Wm first as per marriage
then maybe bro of Wm a George?
both dead by 1841?

3. Wits at Emmas are sis Mary and hubby Solomon

4. Ruth living with Mary on later census

5. Emma is dau of Ruth on census

I think same

I wonder if there are any more details on this lot in the St Giles Rowley Regis PR.s

Jimmy I got to this set of census results when following up the "Jeptha" family -interestingly not as part of my mother's paternal side but her maternal side -- I hadn't put the two together as a possibility until I saw this posting of yours--- Food for thought now!
