Can anyone find Ann Maria Colbourn b1848 in 1861?
In 1851 she is in Sedgley. Findmypast is no help - maybe a transcription error. She marries in 1870.

On findmypast she is transcribed as Ann M Croft - no wonder I couldn't find her!
Will update thread.

Mary Ann was born 1841 so this 1851 marriage doesn't seem likely.

Hmm
There is still mother Sarah Colbourne in 1851 and 1861 so he must have married another Sarah - Sarah Clouer - is that your thinking?

The marriage in April 1851 would be after the census date, n'est-ce pas? So unless he was already living with new wife in 1851 census before they were married this wouldn't fit.

but can't find a birth for Sarah Croft ca 1815
