I think the Furnace jobs follow a normal pattern he prob started in a foundry making bolts as a first job? and a lot of people were made to work in munitions during the war

All born Dudley Worcestershire.

If this is the right family Rachel should be as Married and she would have been 15 when she got married and her age as remained consistant through the census?

Oh no she wouldnt be married, sorry
