Hi
I am trying to find birth certificate details and census records for Emily Adelaide Wilkes
I think she was born in 1877 but not sure where.
She lived in Averham, Nottingham with John William Wilkes between 1902 - 1918. John Died some time before 1918 but i can not locate the details of when.
She remarried William Scott Covel 1918 and continued to live in Averham with him. From their daughters birth certificates it looks like she might have used Adelaide as her first name on some documents in 1927, not sure if this was the case prior to this date.
I think she died in 1936.
It would be nice to find her and John on the census details to see where them and their family lived as they were my Great, Great Grand parents
Again any help/direction would be much appreciated

Thanks for your reply, i have managed to find the details of William Scott Covel and her marriage to him. I just dont seem to be able to find any other details of her.
I am awaiting a copy of their marriage certificate so this might provide me with some further detials. I think she was born in 1877 but i dont seem to be able to locate any details of this. I would like to find out who her mother and father were. I have looked for Emily Adelaide but i dont seem to be able to locate any other details.
I have located her marraige certificate to John William Wilkes (waiting to receive the cert) but again i dont seem to be able to find anyother details on him. I know that he died before 1918 as she remarried William then and the marriage cert of Emily & John's daughter states that in 1927 he had died. I am not sure if he was in the first world war or not as i cant find any other details of them

The only one I can see that fits is.
1901. Feckenham, Worcs.
John W Wilkes. abt 1878. Tettenhall Wood Staffs. Butcher & Dealer.
Emily A Wilkes. abt 1878. born Staffs Bushbury.
But it is a long way from where they married, if this is the right one.

I have only got access to the ancestry web site through the local library, so i havent had a chance to do a search.
