Hi

Can anyone tell me how I can find out who lived at a specific property in the 1880's or maybe even have the information to hand.

My granmother was born at 4 WHITETHORN STREET, BROMLEY, EAST LONDON in May 1887. I believe it was in the parliamentary borough of Tower Hamlets in Bromley St Leonard West district.

I would love to find out the head of the household if possible.

1881 Census you can check by address,
this one shows a Catchpole family living at the address then,

you can try contacting the council for electrol list for that year and address ?

1891 shows a couple of families at that number
Margaret Love Hay and family and also William Kerbey and family
