All death entries

Just wondering people who were executed or committed suicide or died in prison, were death certificates issued for all of them? If so, for example with the executions, would such an event and place be recorded?
Also regarding still births, did the parents always give them a name to be recorded thus?
Sorry to be a bit morbid but I wanna know!

That's an interesting topic, we must look into it, I would think after 1837 they must have had Death Certificates, I know of one Ancestor who died in Dartmoor while waiting to be transported circa 1850, he had a death certificate.
As for stillbirths, if you look at any MI's there are a lot of 'Infants' buried with a relative, with no names. I have read that some babies who were either stillborn or died shortly after birth were actually fed to their pigs. There perception of life was very different to ours. This was all before the late 1800's life became more civilised as we approached the 19th Century. Linell.
