A Sad day for those of us who enjoy sport

as the rugby icon that was Bill McLaren has sadly passed away.
His voice was something that I remember from childhood, full of infectious enthusiasm that made you feel that you were sharing
something special.
He will be sadly missed

Have to agree wolvie, great commentator,
made the game come alive, had a great way with words.

He was one of the greats! He was to rugby what John Arlott was to cricket or Kenneth Wolstenhome was to football!!
