Ok, I've got the census stuff (plus some more) on now.

Jeremiah (aged 60), and Reuben (aged 20), were both charged with assault and acquitted (along with 4 other men) at Stafford County Sessions on 27th June, 1843.

Stafford County Sessions, 2nd Jan 1844, Reuben (aged 21), was charged with larceny and again acquitted.

NL, are you sure that it was Stephen who died in 1821 and not his brother Simon/Simeon?
