Don't need any info for Thomas Gough but need help finding Fanny pre marriage her father is James Taylor Stock taker

James occupation doesnn't sit very well with "Stock TAker" as on the marriage record

Stock Taker sounds more important so unless he was quickly promoted I have doubts as to whether they are the right ones.
