HI, I am afraid to move on, in case I am on the wrong road, can guide me please.
My paternal grandfather was, Frederick John Williams born 1895 St Marylebone
his father is Thomas John Williams - Mother Eliza Ann Williams nee Hayward
Thomas John Williams bn. Dec 1857 Marylebone --- md. Eliza Anne Hayward Sept 1883 Middx
his father is William Williams Bootmaker --md. Eliz perry (or shown as wife on census, he is 33, she is 40) both born in Helston cornwall.
I have them all on the census's 1901 in marylebone ---1891 in Marylebone ---1881 in Westminster---1871 in Westminster----1861 in Marylebone
this is where I have got lost, I cannot find William Williams and Eliz perry's marriage cert. and also I have never been able to identify them in Helston in 1851 or London.
hope someone can help or guide me....thanks
Yvette

That 1851 census the name could be Colenso. Theres a marriage in 1848 St James Westminster John Colenso and on the same page there is Eliza Williams

I am on Genes
Does that mean someone on there told you her maiden name was Perry?
Its always best to check info, because there are so many Williams you would be better off getting a childs birth certificate to confirm her maiden name.
This doesnt seem to be a brickwall at the moment so am going to move it to the general section.
