One of a few of mine...
Stuart

Nothing can change that moment in time,
when you showed your face to your Dad and me.
Nothing can change that moment
when you opened your eyes to see.

Nothing can change that moment in time
when feelings of love surged through.
Nothing can change that moment
when the world stood still just for you.

Nothing can change that moment in time
when you made us two into three.
Nothing can change that moment
the start of a new family tree.

Rob! I'm sure you will have more words to share?
Thanks Annie, Im not really clever at words but sometimes write things when its been special or difficult times.

My Baby

If only I could capture,
this moment in time.
When life is so perfect,
so loving and fine.

When nothing really matters,
because you we can hold.
Our hearts were for sale,
to you, they are sold.

When love is so tender,
free and so real.
It's a time I'll remember,
a memory to seal.

So I'm not leaving the girls out,

Leanne

Childhood days don't last too long,
the toddler times have long gone.
A little child who is learning how,
if only you could see, what I see now.

A loving child so innocent and kind
no selfish thoughts to cross your mind.
The sweetest smile from ear to ear,
that's my girl, my daughter so dear.

My Hannah

It took strength and courage for you to become
borne by us all, for with us you belong.
Anxious days, worried thoughts at night,
will we be strong enough to win this fight?

The battle over, a great trophy to hold,
you're fit and healthy, lively and bold.
You're a marvel, you are finally here,
so precious and wonderful, so very dear.

With you are family is complete,
our problems we'll solve, as we meet.
It wont be easy, that we know,
there's no going back, so here we go.

I have 3 kids Rob, well of my own!

The Ruin

Where do you begin the repair,
when the walls are crumbled from wear and tear.
Do you start with the mortar and fill in the cracks?
or the foundations to ensure there are no gaps?
Do you rig up a scaffold, to give a support?
or dig out the plans and give it more thought?
Can a builder or architect help in this site.. .

not this time, for it's me in this plight!

The wave of a candle, the flicker of the sea
But no one can hear you scream!
The chirp chirp of a monkey
But no one can hear you scream!
A wave is rolling, the sand is running
Silence!!
How sweet is that sound?

or what about
Roses are red, violets are blue
At times when I'm blind I could only still see you
