Annie, friends of mine at work speak highly of it, I think it's a bit like Yahoo Messenger, you can make free calls over the internet to other people

I haven't tried it myself though, lets see what others think?

I have opened it and it's from a friend in America , I'm never sure with anything like that because it did not give my friends name till I looked and it said she was inviting me to talk , so thanks for your help.

I use Skype all the time.

It is better with a webcam but it still works without one. I speak to people all over, as far away as Australia and it's FREE. You maybe get a slight time lag but nothing serious and the pictures can be a bit blurry, I think that may depend on the quality of the webcam.

You watch full screen, with your own image in a small window at the bottom, so that you can see if you are siting central. The sound is full on, like a hands free phone, so a number of people can all talk. Just imagine, if half your family is in another place, you could all sit down to Christmas dinner at the same time, with Skype on and all eat together. Set the camera so it sees the room and bingo you can have a party.

Click on the person you want to call from a list of contacts and it rings out. If they are available they answer, if not then it closes after a few seconds and tells you. They of course can do the same

Go ahead. No problems, it' great, you'll wonder why you have been paying phone bills.

You can use headphones if you need to speak privately and if you haven't got your makeup on you needn't put the web cam on!
