I am trying to find Richard Edwards on the 1861 census , but having no luck.

Richard was born on 5 January 1844 at Queens Street, Princes End , Tipton, parents Richard Edwards and Hannah is wife, on the 1851 this is Richard :-

1851 Dudley Road West Brom
Ann Edwards 34 head wid charwomen
Benjamin Edwards 9 son
Richard Edwards 7 son
Daniel Edwards 5 son
Sarah Edwards 2 dau
Ann Edwards 12 daug

I'd appreciate any help with this please.

Hi CID thank you for trying , I've been trying to find him for ages but nothing comes up after the 1851 , the one you found is not my Hannah she had remarried by then, thanks for your time.

Have you found any of them in other census's.

No Jimmy only 2 of the sisters nothing for Benjamin, Richard or Daniel, I've got their mother Hannah on them all up to 1881.

Did Hannah remarry.

Yes Jimmy , Hannah first married Richard Edwards who is the father of the children and they are both together on the 1841 census , then on the 1851 census Hannah is a widow , then 1861 she is married to Thomas Edwards, I have both the marriage details for her , Richard Edwards father was a Thomas Edwards, and Thomas Edwards father was Richard Edwards just complicate things.

1851, as Richard Edwards, abt 1844. born, Pruce Ence, Staffordshire, which I think is Princes End.

1881, 4 Thomas St, Stoke Upon Trent. Puddler At Ironworks.
Richard Edwards. 35. abt, 1846. Head, Unmarried, born Princes End, Staffs.

Thank you Jimmy that looks like him, he was born at Princess End because I have the birth certificate.
