New Years Eve Nibbley Bits?

On New Years Eve we take it in turns to see New Year in at our friends houses. Last year it was here and I did lots of nibbles, pies etc and got a lot of Indian starter food in from our local Indian.
This year we are having a sit down meal, about 20 adults and 2 or 3 times as many children.
I have been asked to join in the starters and nibbles. I'm so stuck what to do! A friend is doing pate and cheese fondue. I would like to do something for the kids too, they are aged between 6 and 17!
Any thoughts?
Jo :)

Depends how much time you want to spend on it!

You could roll out pizza dough (or buy it ready rolled I expect), then use a glass to cut out rounds, add pizza sauce and cheese and salami.

Or if you want to be healthier than Pete you could cut up carrots and cucumber and sweet/bell peppers and then make a dipping sauce.

Or hummus and bits of veg and strips of pita bread

Or little meatballs to dip in sweet and sour sauce

Or go all retro and have acheese and pineapple hedgehog :-) you could ditch the tinned pineapple and have seedless grapes and manderin slices, and some save chedder mixed with something more interesting.

Good greif, I am so hungry now. Good thing it is breakfast time at last.

You lot here with all your fancy posh food ......why not do something typical of the Black Country something you were all brought up on....or were you.!
Mike.

Well I wasn't I and don't see much point pretending that I was :-)
I am not posh and I don't think I cook posh food either - tonight we are having Irish stew and I'm not from there either!
I love Derbyshire to bits but oatcakes and Bakewell tart is a rather limited diet!

And, The Snug is not in the black Country section so if I want to be international I will be
