No father was on cert for Hannahs marriage to Joseph Bennett
(running with him and his family on another thread)

she is Halesowen based
in occup on marriage for father was the word nailer

In 1851 there's a Hannah Holloway [born 1842 at Halesowen] lodging with a Thomas & Mary Batty at 51 Birmingham St? Halesowen - no other Holloways there.

And in 1861 there's a Hannah born 1841 Halesowen living with Thomas Roan Batty & his wife Mary at 186 Birmingham Street Halesowen - this time she's shown as daughter in law.

I think Hannah is Mary Batty's daughter:-

Is it possible to look up this marriage? I have a feeling that Mary was unmarried when she had Hannah.
Most likely marriage happened in Halesowen.

can't see a church or entry no for that year on wmbsgh
so no it would mean sending for cert
