Sensible lad!!

One of the reasons I didn't want Turkey was all the leftovers
this year just gave em all to my dau!

When the kids were babies I used to whizz up all the left overs in a blender and stick the goo in icecube trays!
disgusting ....

We bought a turkey but didn't cook it until yesterday so we had Turkey curry and even though I say it myself, it went down a storm.
There was enough to feed a couple of extra visitors and we're having cold turkey, ham and pickles etc tonight.

Hope you all had/still having a nice Christmas

Well, our turkey claimed to be in the 5 to 6 kg range but I reckon it was mostly bone! Or else some people ate an aweful lot on Christmas Day because there was enough meat left for a turkey pie yesterday and we have had a handful of sarnies, the rest went for stock.
My son is not big on traditional sit-down meals so tonight I'm making spag bol as we return to normal.
