Recently, I managed to accomplish what I set out to do beginning in Jan of 2007: compile a genealogy of my Jackson forebears involving a variety of places in south Yorkshire. Besides being a very successful adventure, it's also been a most incredible eye-opener; blessed along the way with great good luck. Other surnames surrounding this particular set of Jackson's are: Bagshaw, Glossop, Hudson and Sidney.

Right now I'm sorting out the rather confusing and convoluted particulars of another (unrelated to me) family group: the Lewis's and Fawcett's in the geographic area between Leeds and Knaresborough, YKS, pre-1845.
